# Investigation GUI
/f investigate is now GUI-first for players when menus are enabled. Console and explicit text commands still use text output.
Default behavior:
Player runs /f investigate: opens the investigation dashboard.
Console runs /f investigate: text fallback.
/f investigate recent: text recent activity.
/f investigate faction <faction>: text faction history.
/f investigate player <player>: text player history.
/f investigate event <id>: text event detail.
Remaining GUI work:
Dedicated category selection screen.
Search prompts for faction/player/date filters.
Event detail pages with related-entity links.
Rollback selection, preview, confirmation, history, and detail pages.
Staff/private data must remain permission-gated in all GUI screens.
